Chinese Language Books (COMING SOON)
Your First 25 Chinese Characters (COMING SOON). Too often the Chinese written language is taught to native English-speaking students using the “memorization method.” This is where teachers basically say, “OK write this character 1000 times until you know it by heart.” But the Chinese language is way too poetic and full of meaning to use this method… besides, there’s a much faster and longer-lasting method for teaching the written language. Your First 25 Chinese characters teaches children their first 25 Chinese characters by showing them the meaning behind the characters. For example, 山 shan, the Chinese character for “mountain,” used to be drawn as three mountain peaks. The book uses imaginative drawings to teach children in a way that will make them know and love Chinese characters and want to learn more.
